Centralised system with heat pumps that guarantee a building’s energy efficiency
Objective:
Centralised system that can generate all air conditioning in summer and heat in winter from a central unit, reducing the space needs for installing equipment on roofs. The unit regulates and modulates based on the demand of the residential building, adapting to users’ needs and guaranteeing the building’s high energy efficiency. One or two units are needed for an entire residential building.
Description:
The DAIKIN EWYT series heat pumps have a power range of between 74 and 640 kW equipped with the latest in Scroll Bluevolution compressor technology. They have R32 coolant and are very compact units with one or two fully independent circuits. There are two efficiency versions: standard (EWYT-B-S series) and very high efficiency (EWYT-B-X) with very high SEER seasonal efficiency ratings.
There are also different ranges of sound levels (S/L/R). It includes a plate evaporator and a copper/aluminium battery with Alucoat anti-corrosive treatment which also optimises the efficiency of the defrosting cycles of the condenser’s battery in winter. It comes standard with the electronic expansion valve and electrical resistor in the evaporator. Production of hot water up to 60ºC with the option to include partial heat recovery. Includes the Microtech 4 controller which enables new connectivity possibilities, including Daikin remote on-site supervision.
The SMALL Inverter EWYQ CW units cover 16 to 75 kw power range with R-410a coolant. These units include Scroll Inverter compressors which provide high energy efficiency as well as a reduced sound level. They come standard with an electronic expansion valve, water filter, flow switch, anti-corrosive treatment on the condenser battery with 78 Pa axial fans, remote controller with the option for weekly programming and floating set point.
